Keep in mind, this video includes language specific to the Focused Strategy. The Focused Strategy replaces the entire mortgage. If you are keeping your original mortgage you are doing what we call the Chunking Strategy. People who are doing the Chunking Strategy do not need a payoff letter and the amount of the line of credit will not likely change.

Experian
You are entitled to one free credit report per year. We recommend pulling one every four months from one of the three agencies.
Once your loan is closed, consider freezing your credit to protect yourself against fraud.
